Human beings are profoundly shaped by our social environment, this wiring for connection governs us both consciously and unconsciously. Friendship is at the heart of this human experience. We suffer greatly when our social bonds are threatened or severed. More than ever, friendships are an essential part of life right now. Who have you been reaching for and who has been reaching for you?

We have prioritized romantic relationships in our society for so long, yet friendships offer us a kind of intimacy and connection that is unique and nourishing in its own right. The longing for belonging is our collective birthright. Let's explore this topic together.

Join me for a lively series on adult friendship through the lens of Somatic Psychology.

This series will be in 2 parts. Alternating weeks will have a teaching and forum component. The forum will be an opportunity for the group to bring questions about friendships and share collective wisdom. This will also be the time to expand on the material from the class before. There will be space to learn and explore together.

In this course you will learn:

- How to tell a good friendship from a bad one -

-Skills to help you let go of toxic friendships -

-How to turn a breakup into a breakthrough.

- How to identify the different kinds of friendships you're involved in.

- How to grow your capacity for friendship.

- Learn about your personal attachment style and why it's important to get to know it better.

- The difference between community and friendship.

Because this topic is so integral and important to our well-being, we will make plenty of time and space for you to bring all your questions and queries.
