About this retreat

Join Deborah and Rebeca for a week of deep nourishment. On the magnetic Oaxacan coast of Mexico, surrounded by Jungle and Ocean. Each day we will share in morning yoga and breathwork practice to invigorate and energize our bodies, hearts, and minds. The rhythm of nature will guide our days, going at a pace that FEELS REALLY GOOD.

You will have plenty of time to explore the town during the day or hang on your personal balcony looking out at the sea with a good book.

We will circle in sisterhood and connection with each other before the most sumptuous organic dinner. The evening practice will center on meditation, slow and restorative somatics, and relaxation.

Jungle, Ocean, Cacao Ceremony and spontaneous delights await you.

• The FOOD!   Organic Gourmet Breakfast & Dinner   You are in for a treat!  Fresh, local, and organic food will be served. Breakfast will be both light and hearty. Eggs, homemade bread, yogurt, fruit, and all the fixings to sustain you for the day. Dinner will be traditional Mexican innovative dishes.  All means will be vegetarian and some fish options fresh from that morning's ocean.     *(Afternoon lunch is not included. There are many cute places to eat in town, which you can walk to.)

Accommodation & Town

The daily life of the inhabitants of San Agustinillo begins every morning when the fishermen go out to sea and return at dawn with fresh fish and seafood. Mornings pass with greetings from neighbors and dogs lying in the shade of the palapas. The sea, always there, comes and goes with its thunderous waves that at sunset becomes a playground. Every night the stars give us a different show, to remind us of the vastness of the universe.

Monte Uzulu is A Gorgeous sustainably built and maintained Boutique hotel in the jungle with a short walk to the Ocean on the hillside surrounded by wild trees and sounds of birds.

Each suite has a terrace with a privileged view of the Pacific Ocean and the Oaxacan jungle.

You are welcome to come with a friend. Lover, soon-to-be lover. Wife etc. and SHARE a queen-size bed.

If you and someone want to share a bed, please reach out for the rate for two people.

What’s not included

Airfare, covid-19 test prior returning to the US, extras (jungle visit, surf lessons, massage etc)

Taxi to and from the airport. We will organize that for you with the extra charge closer to the time.

Gratuity for staff 

Please bring 2 yoga blocks, yoga mat, and a yoga blanket. 

How do I get to san agustinillo

From NYC, you would fly to Mexico City and then get a short connecting flight to Huatulco (HUX). We will organize transportation to our retreat center which is about a one-hour drive from the airport.

When should I arrive & leave?

We are going to do our best to coordinate all retreat attendees to take the same shuttle from the airport to the retreat center. This will be clear to you once you have purchased your spot.

Our closing circle is on the evening of the 13th of March. The 14th is a free travel day. We will have coffee and breakfast available.
